Sean has been with City Finance Service since 2011 having begun his career in Financial Services back in 1986 with TSB. He has recently become a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Insurance in recognition of his commitment to clients and career. Sean provides advice across the country having built up his extensive portfolio largely through referrals. He advises in all areas of their financial planning and specialises in Retirement Planning and is regulated to advise on Defined Benefit Pension transfers. In his spare time, Sean is a keen golfer and member of Banchory and Moray Golf Clubs and a season ticket holder at Pittodrie. Sean is married with three grown up children.

Bob joined City Finance Service in 2013 and is Diploma qualified with over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry. His business is based on building relationships with clients enabling them to meet their personal and financial goals and objectives, allowing them to look to the future with confidence and optimism. He specialises in providing a highly personalised service with expert advice on a wide range of important areas such as Investments, Estate Planning, Retirement and Protection. In addition, he also works closely with professional connections such as Lawyers and Accountants. Bob is married to Jill, with a grown up daughter, Lauren. They have a cockapoo, Buddy, who they love to enjoy adventures with. Bob is also a fan of Aberdeen FC and a season ticket holder at Pittodrie.

Craig joined City Finance Service in July 2017 as a mortgage and protection adviser. Since then Craig has furthered his education and gained his diploma and offers holistic advice in all aspects of financial planning. Craig enjoys and is passionate about helping clients with their mortgage and protection requirements from first time buyers getting on the property ladder to reviewing mortgages for both existing and new clients. Craig has extensive knowledge and experience in the new build market as well as the second hand market and will ensure clients are looked after from the start to the finish. Craig provides holistic financial planning solutions in all areas of financial planning including pre and post retirement planning and investments. Craig’s approach is to understand our client’s main goals and objectives in order to provide the most comprehensive and appropriate advice. In Craig’s spare time he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family and is especially kept very busy with his young daughter.

Steven graduated from The University of Aberdeen with a Degree in Business Management & Finance before joining City Finance Service. Steven is passionate about telling client’s the truth about their money and showing them the path they are currently on. Steven provides a Financial Planning experience which revolves around his client’s life, learning what they want to achieve and when. Through learning about current and future lifestyle goals and the use of cashflow modelling software, Steven can assist client’s in bringing this all to life visually and display a Lifestyle Financial Plan.
Steven is a football fan and enjoys going to Easter Road to watch Hibernian, and is also a keen golfer and member at Murcar and Cullen Links

Martin graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2017 with a Masters in Petroleum Engineering and joined City Finance Service in April 2022. He is fully qualified to offer financial planning and mortgage advice. Martin is caring, extremely client focused and passionate about helping his clients achieve financial independence. He helps clients consider what they want to achieve at present and in the future. He will then bring this to life for clients with a financial plan using cash flow software which incorporates their specific goals and life transitions. He is always available to be a sounding board for client questions as he believes his role is to help remove financial anxiety. He helps clients invest correctly, understand the risks, and avoid mistakes to build long term wealth. He will also ensure clients and their families’ wealth is protected through suitable insurance. In his spare time, Martin enjoys travelling, spending time with his girlfriend and dog and has a keen interest in golf, cars, and football.

Donna joined City Finance Service in December 2009 as a Paraplanner bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry. She has obtained advanced level pension qualifications and provides technical support to our Pension Specialists. In her spare time she supports her daughter who competes in gymnastics and trampolining and attends various competitions across the country. When she does get time to herself, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and reading.

Shelagh joined City Finance Service in June 2016 having previously worked in the retail sector for a number of years. She offers administrative support for Fiona MacKenzie at our Aberdeen office in addition to reception duties. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 3 nieces. She also enjoys keeping fit with yoga, running and swimming. She goes on holiday once a year to America where she loves to shop and go and watch baseball, American football and College football.

Karen joined City Finance Service in January 2003 and is one of our longest serving administrators with experience of over 35 years in the Financial Services industry. In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading, going to concerts and spending time with her family & friends.

Lauren joined City Finance Service in January 2013 after graduating from Aberdeen College with an HND in Administration & Information Technology. She supports financial advisers with various administrative duties within the Aberdeen office. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, especially with her niece who she has regular girlie days with. She likes reading and plays darts for a local team in Aberdeen.

Rachel has has worked within the financial industry since 2013 and currently assists our advisor, Kenny Fairbairn, with the day to day servicing of his clients. She is Degree qualified in Applied Social Sciences which she achieved at Robert Gordon University and is currently furthering her knowledge in finance having achieved her Certificate CII qualification. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping fit by attending gym classes and getting out into the hills. She is also an active volunteer with the Girl Guiding Association and loves spending time with family and friends.

Jackie joined City Finance Service in January 2022 as a Financial Administrator / Accounts Assistant and brings with her over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Her main responsibilities are assisting Fiona MacKenzie with the day to day servicing of her clients. She spends one day a week in the Ellon Office assisting out Accounts Department. She lives with her partner Craig and her son Aaron. In her spare time she enjoys walking, spending time with friends & family, going to the cinema and reading

Kirstie graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2021 with an Honours Degree in Chemistry and joined City Finance Service in November 2022. She is passionate about learning and enjoys a challenge, currently working towards gaining her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Kirstie is a keen runner and committed netball player, competing at local and national levels over the years. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking and spending time with friends and family.

Lauren graduated from Robert Gordon University with an Accounting & Finance degree and has been working in the financial services industry since 2007. She joined City Finance Service in October 2024 and prepares documents in advance of client review meetings, offering administrative support to financial advisers Martin Clark and Bob Adie.

In her spare time, Lauren likes walking, reading and spending time with her husband and two children

Iryna graduated in Economics and Law from university in Ukraine and has been working in financial services since 2004. Her career began in banking and for the last 5 years has been working in an investment company. She joined City Finance Service in October 2024

In her free time, she loves spending time with her two children, often exploring the stunning landscapes of the Scottish Highlands with them.
